Hell's Gate

Platform games (often simplified as platformer, or jump 'n' run) are a video game genre and subgenre of action games. Platformers are characterized by their heavy use of jumping and climbing to navigate the player's environment and reach their goal. In Hell's gate, you have abilities that are used with the 1, 2 & 3 keys of your keyboard. Anti gravity, Slow Mo & Super Speed allow you to overcome the obstacles in your path & achieve your goal.
Collect keys & Skulls in game to unlock Doors & unlock new worlds with new challenges & new music. Made in the Unreal Engine, I wanted to create something that took me back to my childhood when growing up with games like, Crash Bandicoot, Gex & others.
Controls:
A & D - Move left & right
Space bar - Jump
Num 1 - Slow motion ability
Num 2 - Anti Gravity
Num 3 - Super Speed
Instructions are available in game. Use them if you want to be able to complete the game.

The enemies and stages are so eerie and unique - the art style of this game is incredible!

Hell's Gate surprised me a lot with the visual style, the music, as well as the amount of features for such a small game. It is quite challenging, but the extra abilities and trying the game a couple of times and getting the hang of the controls really makes it rewarding after completing each level. That last level though is 10/10 hands down, the presentation is just so epic both in visuals and audio design. Overall there's a lot of content and things to discover and left me with a very satisfying experience, well done!

Hell's Gate is a fun platformer with awesome visuals and a cool soundtrack. I recommend trying it out as I haven't really seen a game like this before!

This game's a lot of fun. And the backgrounds are so damn cool. I really like this one. Level 3 is a huge pain in the ass though. I must be missing the trick to beating it because I couldn't get past a cretain spot. Still a lot of fun though. Thanks!

With level 3 it's actually one of the easier levels as you can also use gravity boost to go up instead of the down route that you took. Regardless, I'm sure you will be able to get it completed.
